Digital badging is an online learning platform that allows educators to participate in effective professional development opportunities. Learners can join classes based on the skill/topic they want to learn more about. Some examples of badges may include lessons on Google Classroom, Go Guardian, and Gmail. The purpose of a badge is for a learner to achieve a specific skill or earn a credential in 1-3 hours. Learners must first join the badge, then complete the badge requirements, and submit evidence to earn credit for the badge.
