OPCSD has a new self-guided learning process called Digital Badging. Unlike in-person classes, these courses are done online, and unlike online professional development classes, these are done completely at your own pace with no deadline. They are short and sweet (1-3 hours) and currently include topics for digital resources that benefit our classrooms, students, and ourselves. In the past, learning these topics was watching a video and submitting a code, but the new Digital Badging has a component where you provide evidence of your learning that is then reviewed and approved in order for you to earn your badge. I'm very excited about many of the learning opportunities offered through Digital Badging!
