An article that is science related and that I found interesting is “Sinking and Floating”. It talked about the misconception of younger students thinking that boats sink because of their weight. So, if an item weighed more it is more likely to sink than an item that weighs less. I found this particularly interesting because it is easy to believe this because as young children this is what most likely makes sense. This article also opens the window as a future teacher to see how I can tackle misconceptions that come with science.
