Nasa has a new tool that can calculate the increase in sea level rise in port cities across the globe. The tool is able to directly attribute the rising sea levels at each port to the nearest melting glaciers. For example, Sydney Australia is seeing a rapid increase in sea level due to melting ice from Antarctica. The tool and measurements are designed to help people living and working in these port cities devise plans of action for the continuing sea level rises.
