The most direct way that I can use these skills with my students is to teach them how to limit their searches to get the most effective results. I will have to first teach them how to identify keywords and phrases for their topics and then how to input the information into the advanced search page.
This will impact my teaching and student learning because we will all be more proficient in the process and will be more efficient in the completion of our work. It definitely gives me a better way to assist students with their research on the service learning projects that we complete.
