Will speaking their Snapchat-language encourage more interaction with the book, content, or topic? Why? Why not?

Students are always talking about Tik Tok and love when I incorporate that into class.
Students are always talking about Tik Tok and love when I incorporate that into class. I feel like incorporating Snapchat into math class will blend their academic and personal lives together.

Speaking Kids Language
Yes, I think that any way we can engage students in learning is useful. I think they would love to create their own booksnap and it would be easy to do with a simple photo editor. I think kids could be really excited to use the tool. this could be used in Math, Science and of course reading but Social Studies as well.

Snapchat-Language
I believe that allowing the older students to use snapchat language will increase the interaction that they have with the book. I think that it will get them much more excited about a reading a book that they may not have chosen to read themselves. It gives them a chance to learn and be more engaged in a way that interest them.

Yes, it will encourage more interaction because it is technology and that is their love language!
Yes, it will encourage more interaction because it is technology and that is their love language! This is much more fun to do a booksnap rather than a boring highlight or mark the text with a pencil and sticky note! This way they get to create their own personal way to mark the text and have fun doing it! They will be excited to use it.
