I knew that it was very important to protect student's information already. I also knew that there were certain laws that we as teachers had to follow to ensure this. I didn't realize how careful we had to be with using popular apps such as remind to make sure students have their private information protected from third parties. I learned about all the provisions that came along with privacy using technology. I will make sure that I follow proper precautions to ensure that my students are always safe.
