Plagiarizing can be a difficult subject to talk about when it comes to art. Many children like to draw their favorite characters or follow someone’s specific art style. And even though they are not blatantly copying other artists, they need to be informed on what Plagiarism actually is. I want them to be inspired by other art styles, or inspired by another painting or drawing, but not straight up copy. If they learn about Plagiarism in writing, they should learn it is just as important in art.
