Plagiarism is definitely an issue that must be addressed, particularly for a generation that is being raised on the internet. With greater access to more resources and other people's work, it is essential that we teach the ethics of copyright and plagiarism to our students. A simple graphic, however, is not enough to remind students of the seriousness of plagiarism, regardless of how detailed or how well it grabs the viewer's attention. While I definitely see myself integrating a lesson on plagiarism in my future classroom, and I will most likely have a similar graphic such as this in my classroom, the graphic on its own is not enough. I do appreciate the opportunity to focus on such an important issue in the digital age, and I hope my future students will appreciate the time spent understanding the dangers of plagiarism.
