This is relevant even in early childhood because it is important for students to learn that we need to use our own work and give credit to others when we borrow or use their ideas. Using the canva app was fun because I am able to create posters with engaging pictures and words. The graphic can draw students in and help them remember why not to plagiarize and what plagiarism looks like. I think teaching students ahead of time abut plagiarism so later in life they can reflect back and have prior knowledge on the topic. Plagiarism happens a lot and there is a lot of backlash that can occur from it. Student should understand the importance of sharing, using their own ideas and crediting others when they like their ideas.
