Canva

I used Canva for this graphic. I enjoy using Canva for educational posters and presentations because it allows me to find template that fit very well with what I am trying to describe. I have used Canva to make many posters for OU iGEM, the OU American Society for Microbiology, and others. I can't count how many hours it has saved me by introducing a document format that I may never have come up with and fits my intent perfectly.

Pages

This was done from a template provided in Pages, and it worked relatively well. Pages has very limited functionality on the iPad though and is extremely difficult to use compared to word on a computer when creating typical documents.

Adobe Illustrator is my best friend.

I used Adobe Illustrator. I am also familiar with Canva. Adobe Illustrator is the graphic design software I am most comfortable with, but I usually use Canva for invitations. If I am creating a graphic on my iPad instead of on a computer, I use Adobe Spark Post. I find that Canva is best for fomulaic designs, like invitations and event flyers and Illustrator works best for when I want a lot of flexibility, like for this assignment. Adobe Spark Post is best suited for graphics intended for social media.

Adobe Spark Post

I used the Adobe Spark Post app to create this graphic.  I learned about this app from Monica Burns during one of her workshops at iPadpalooza, and I have used it several times for other classes and purposes as well as for this class.  It is very easy to use and there are infinite options to choose from to customize your design!

Summary of app used

I used Canva. Generally, I like Canva. They have available templates and it is easy to manipulate. However, I don't know how to do hyperlinks, and some of the features are very "cookie cutter." But, for a quick, easy way to make a graphic, that's my go-to.

App

The app I used to make this project was canva. This app has a a lot of different layouts and it gives you the choice to choose what kind of project you want to make. In addition, there are a lot of font options to help you create a personalized project. This is a quick and easy app to use. I have used this app before, and I love it. I don’t like how you have to pay to remove the watermark but I still think this app is great.

Explain Everything

I enjoyed using this app. For a project earlier this year I used it and thought it was easy to manipulate. It is also great for making things interactive.
