Unfortunately, suspension is still a thing even with early childhood education.  Therefore, like I said before, I would want to go over agreed upon consequences with my students and even with myself.  This way if a student does something, we both know what to do and there is not any possible bias.  A typical problem the webinar discussed is a teacher being more relaxed if a student they loved did something but is more harsh with the "trouble maker" did it when in reality, both students have done the same thing.  With an agreed upon consequence and clear rules, this would not be an issue. Plus, I want to avoid suspension at all cost for my future classroom.  It is not beneficial for the kids, but instead, makes them miss important class time and possibly get them into even more trouble.
