This is relevant to my future classroom because I want my students to be knowledgeable on how to interact with people from other countries/cultures. I want them to be able to get below the surface level information and see what really makes them as a person. I can use this by taking some of the tips that she has given us and putting them into place. Some good things she said is to collaborate with other classrooms about local topics and then share your findings with them. Learning about what a country is struggling with is going to be so much more impactful if it comes from the people of that country. She said that students want to hear from the people of that country much more than a scientist or "experts." Which I totally agree! That'll want the knowledge from people that are experiencing it first hand.
