When it comes to my future classroom, I loved the idea of connecting my students to the world around them. In addition to the art projects that they can use to express themselves, sharing art with students around the world can create greater unity within the classroom. Global citizenship is a responsibility that all teachers, of every grade, have to teach the children in our classrooms. They will be able to better relate to others of different cultures (which increases tolerance) and to have a better understanding of what life is like outside of their community/country. I really do hope to have this program, or a program like this, in my own classroom. I have loved the idea of connecting my classroom to students all over the world, and this is a great way to do so.
