I think that this is a great idea for teachers to get students to be more active in the community. As teachers, we can help our students get interested in the community around them, which is a great value to instill in them. By teaching what they can do to help the world, we've giving them some very important tools that will develop them into better citizens. I think that while this exact program many not work for every school, there will always be some kind of opportunity for students to get involved and volunteer.
