I think this webinar really relates back to my classroom because
it talked about integrating technology in with English instruction. Being able
to teach two subjects at once is very important and not all schools have the
funds to support technology education. Technology, art, and physical education
can all easily be pushed to the side in school to focus on standardized exams.
In the webinar books about on line citizenship, how to code, and when it is
time to unplug make all the difference when a student can finally get there
hands on a computer. This webinar got me started on making a list of technology
books I plan to have and use in my classroom.
Having the skill to teach technology, even in a school that is lacking,
will put me ahead of others because I can now go beyond the obvious and into a broader
real of education.
