This is relevant to my future classroom because family engagement is important to children's education. It gave a graphic of a practices I could implement in my own classroom. Personally, I want to teach in Frisco and I know home visits are not acceptable but there was other knowledge such as, resources to offer to families, back to school night, positive phone calls instead of just negative ones, frequent personalized communication and newsletters I learned and plan to bring to my future classroom.
