This workshop was very insightful to the preparation and use of code.org in the classroom. Specifically, by laying out the 6 step plan, the workshop clarified a lot of concerns I had about teaching coding in the educational environment. It really opened my eyes to the different ways coding can be taught at virtually any level in the k-12 system and beyond. Furthermore, it placed a heavy influence on increasing the number of these programs in schools, which is important for developing a healthy and productive work force in the technological era.
