The first workshop after the opening event was extremely applicable to my future classroom. I learned about developing student driven inquiry questions for secondary students, that is, leading classes so students will ask productive questions to contribute to their learning. The speakers illustrated that while this is tricky, it is beneficial when the inquiry is led properly. An instructional plan ( such as the 5 e learning method) must be in place to achieve success. The other workshop was more for teacher organization, and they provided many helpful tools and methods to remain stress free in the classroom.
