This concept about racism and learning from Anne Frank’s experience can be applied to the classroom. Many children go through certain circumstances at home, and I want them to know that my class is a safe place where they can discuss their thoughts and opinions. Racism is a huge issue and still affects the world today. Children need to be aware of the issue and how they can improve unity throughout humans. Viewing each other as equals and not dominating one another’s culture is a crucial topic that students need to be aware of growing up.
