This webinar provided me with a lot of information that could help me offer students the opportunity to examine whiteness in the classroom. There were many sources given on oppression, de-centering whiteness, talking about whiteness, confronting white privilege and strategic solutions. Since I am an early childhood education major, I could use knowledge from this webinar to help find appropriate ways to talk about skin color and alleviate biases that young children can have.
