This webinar made me rethink my stance on flipgrid, because it's not my favorite tool by any means. However, I think this video made some good points about how an app like flipgrid can help students to take ownership of their learning. One of my professors said that the highest level of learning is being able to teach on a topic, and I think that the videos students create when they explain their thoughts and ideas via flipgrid tap into that. I think I could use this to help students grapple with complex concepts or even to voice opinions that may differ in between students so that everyone's thoughts can be heard. This also creates an opportunity to provide thoughtful and individual feedback to each student when needed.
