This webinar was really eye-opening. It relates a lot to my Diverse Learners course that I am taking this semester. We talk about the many biases that we face in our world, and how our future students are no exceptions. Their biases form from a young age based on the people they are around, and the environment they grow up in. We as teachers can work hard to break down those walls through lesson plans, and real-life experiences but we, ourselves, need to confront any biases that we may have, and often times, we do not even notice that we have them.
