Dr. Cullen mentioned about the Girls Who Code organization which is a after school program that teaches girls how to code, and I have been interested in this organization for a while now. In fact, I would like to start up my own Girls Who Code program in my future school district. I’m really glad Dr. Cullen mentioned about those coding books gears towards female readers; I think they would be a great addition to a classroom. The webinar also inspired me to do a math history lesson where students would create a book over a mathematician that they are assigned or chose.
