The SAMR video presented 4 levels that educators can use technology. The 4 levels are: substitution, augmentation, modification, and redefinition. The levels move a students from simply substituting technology for another method. An example would be that a student would use a computer to write an essay instead of using paper and pencil. The next method substitutes technology with the intention to improve by using technology. The last two levels basically allow the educator give students the opportunity to create things that were not feasible years ago. The last two levels also allows students to take their learning global.
