I work with multiple grade levels for math and reading. I would implement a TAG protocol for math lessons, such as word problems and the strategies to solve them. If a student draws a picture that best fits the word problem, we would have a visual. The students can give the feedback that was needed, and ask question as to how they solved the problem. The positive suggestions do help students understand what they can work on for the next word problem, and what strategy can work best for the problem.
