AI has come a long way as far as what it has to offer and the tools that can help enrich learning. However, AI collects a lot of data in the process, which is not always a good thing in terms of collecting users’ data. This could potentially impact privacy. Also, there is also not a ‘fact-checking’ component, necessarily, so it could create a completely inaccurate account for a user. This could bring up further issues as far as copyrighted material, as well. Another area that could raise some concerns and challenges is dealing with biases and stereotypes. AI may incorporate historical bias in the information it uses, as well as the problem that predictive analytics can be discriminatory.
