1. Stephanie Laurence: I teach English at Minerva DeLand. 2. I like teaching English to high school students because I feel that effective communication through writing and speaking is an essential life skill for teens and young adults. Teaching is a rewarding job because I feel like we make a tangible difference in students' lives. 3. A barrier that students have for producing content is that many students at this age are self conscious about sharing ideas or speaking in front of peers. Many also struggle with time management in regards to project based learning.
