My name is Kate Lechleider, and I teach 2nd grade at Brooks Hill. I enjoy spending time with students, helping them learn, and watching them grow. As a 2nd grade teacher, I think students' ease of use with technology could be a barrier. They are very familiar with things like iPads, games, and YouTube, but using technology to create content could be a challenge as it's a different format. That being said, students pick up new skills and content so quickly that I think this would be more of a learning curve than a barrier.
