Facebook

This a new app that I had never thought about using before for instructional purposes before this activity. I could use this tool to connect my students to people from all around the world. Facebook is a free app that is available on all software systems. There is no memory or RAM requirement unless the user wants to play games or download files through Facebook. Some things to keep in mind are a possible distraction but a class page can be made. It may also be blocked by the schools filter system.

Pear Deck

The app that I choose is Pear Deck. Pear deck is an interactive app that you can access through Google Drive. To use this within the classroom, ideally  students would need 1:1 with iPads or Chrome Books. Students would also need access to Google Docs. Teachers can use this as a real-time assessment of students learning and engagement throughout the lesson.

Resource Collaboration

Google docs is something we discussed using. We liked this idea because it allows multiple people to edit the same sheet. This would allow teachers to be able to fill out a basic skeleton that the students could be able to fill in.
There is no charge for using it regularly, but there are more things we could add. There will have to be multiple discussion posts, so that way students are succeeding in communicating with other students. Students will need to have some sort of electronic device in order to complete the task.

Pathsource

1. Pathsource is an application that can be found in the Apple App store or the google play store. This application would allow students to explore careers after taking a lifestyle assessment.
2. The only real requirement is access to the app store of play store and a electronic device. I don't think it requires any other contextual requirement. Perhap students will have to have some knowledge on financial literacy.

Resource

1. Peardeck is the app I would like to learn more about.
2. A presentation guide and information is needed to use this resource. This app is used to present a topic or instruction to the class. It is interactive. Students can use this to learn along with each other and with the teacher. The program is free, so no additional funds are needed.
