1.) Google Forms: https://docs.google.com/forms/u/0/
Google Forms is an easy way to see what students already know about a topic before discussing it. You can also use this site as a formative assessment. The pros of this site include easy access, teacher creation, and quick response feedback. Google forms evaluates the test scores and submits them to the teacher immediately after completion. However, I couldn't come up with any cons for this site.
2.) Kahoot: https://kahoot.it/
Kahoot is an easy access website that can assess students before, during or after a lesson. The pros of this site include easy access, fun for students, and allows for students to view testing as a game instead of a paper document. The cons of this website include that students are able to see other student responses on the screen. Another con is that the Kahoot questions have to be completed in a short amount of time.
3.) Jamboard: https://jamboard.google.com/
Jamboard can be used as an assessment tool and a material tool. Students can demonstrate their understanding by applying ntoes about what they have learned. The pros of this site include easy access, student engagement, and collaboration with peers. The cons of this site include collaboration with peers. For example, if you want to test your students based on what they know and the whole class has the same jamboard students will be able to see each others responses.
