I want to teach middle school social studies. When I was in middle school, we learned the various amendments. The app I reviewed gave an analyzed version of the amendments. This is appealing because the language used in the original document can be hard to follow, and this app gave it more explanation. I could use this app when going over the constitution to help my students get a better understand of the exact meaning. Dr. Cullen sent me this app in an email. I did find trouble with this app. There was not an option to highlight, write, or have it read aloud. I wish these three things will be included when this app gets updated. I would use this in my classroom if my students could highlight and write down things they find important. Additionally, I might have slow readers who cannot comprehend what they read at a fast pace, and if the app could read aloud, it could help them have a better understanding. This app would be useful for units over the Constitution, but it is definitely not a necessity.
