Personally, I would use this app in an early childhood classroom as a reinforcement for students who are struggling with the alphabetic principle. I think this app is something that children could easily use at home to gain the repetition need in learning the phonemes associated with letter shapes and names. This app could also be used as a brain break for the whole class. Since each letter on the homepage has a unique song or activity that goes along with it, I could see my whole class doing a letter together as a brain break. In addition, this app has a feature that teaches students the sign language for each letter. I love the idea of my early childhood students being able to attach movements with letters. To make this app better, I would love to see some kind of creating component. Whether it's the ability to manipulate letters together to make new sounds or create words, I think this app lacks any kind of ability to create.
