The App, Scratch Jr., is a coding app for the primary grades to get students accustomed with learning coding sequences and patterns. Coding has always been known as a "rough" subject to teach and get students excited about, so having this creative story maker option allows students to become engaged and excited about learning to code. The only option that limits this app to become collaborative in the classroom and outside of the classroom is the ability to disseminate and share work with others. Because this app lacks this option, sharing experiences with peers can be limited.
