This is relevant to my future classroom because many districts issue their students iPads. It is also good to have knowledge on many different platforms. If Google Slides, or Microsoft Powerpoint is unavaliable, it is good to be able to know how to use apps like Keynote, and iMovie. iMovie can be a good source to create a lesson that is not solely based off of worksheets or book work. It can be fun for students to use a platform that lets them be creative. I think the ITSE Standards for Educators Facilitator standard is being met with this activity. The lesson would create a process that allows students to be innovative and solve problems. In the ITSE Standards for Students meets the Knowledge Constructor standard. Students use a varitey of different platforms to produce creative artifacts. I think an activity that uses any of these platforms can be super useful in the classroom. Students love using technology, especially when it can be more fun. Creating a response to an activity like a TedTalk would be fun for students to practice new skills!
