The apple teacher certification is extremely useful in my future classroom because many of the applications such as pages, iMovie, Keynote, and Numbers are all used with skills that are transferable to other applications and resources everywhere. You never know if you will end up with a school that partners with Apple products, but nevertheless, you can always create using these applications and use a keynote presentation or a Numbers chart to enhance your lesson plan or to demonstrate a concept. All of these certifications are necessary to a teachers technological abilities in an ever changing classroom. The ISTE standards I chose for this are: empowered learner, digital citizen, innovative designer, and creative communicator.
