Iste Standard for Students

Computational Thinker: Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions.

i think that this standard fits this activity because it’s very much like a trial and error practice until they begin to see a pattern.  Some, however, get extremely difficult so it takes more time.

I think the standards could vary depending on how you decide to implement this into classroom instruction. It could be a way to differentiate or accommodate instruction or use it as a general learning tool for an entire class depending on the unit of instruction.
