6c: Create learning opportunities that challenge students to use a design process and computational thinking to innovate and solve problems.
Implementing Code.org allows the teacher to work as a facilitator in student learning as they are provided an opportunity to problem solve and develop logic skills.

ISTE Standards

Knowledge Constructor: Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.

Innovative Designer: Students use a variety of technologies within a design process to identify and solve problems by creating new, useful or imaginative solutions.

Computational Thinker

I think that this code.org activity would fit under the following ISTE standard:

Computational Thinker:
Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions.

5c: Students break problems into component parts, extract key information, and develop descriptive models to understand complex systems or facilitate problem-solving.

The students are using their problem solving skills to the max to solve the problems and coding on code.org. They have to break the problem down and extract key information.

I choose #4 Innovative Designer

The description for innovative designer, which says that students use technologies with a design process to identify and solve problems by creating useful or imaginative solutions is exactly what this was! Completely aligns with it, and it seems like maybe standard number 4 was written about coding!
Students must really think about the problems at hand and think of the best way they can find a solution, and it really is a great critical thinking promoting activity using technology!

ISTE standard

Computational Thinker: Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions.

I believe that both of these standards fit perfectly. They both encourage the student to use technology to learn on a deeper level which is one of the main benefits of coding.

Computational Thinker: Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions.

This project could not fit this standard more perfectly. It covers all the goals of these standards through the multiple activities offered.
