Military Mentors

A play on the word emissary, eMMissaries are screened, selected, and trained through a cohort style leader(ship) development program to become ‘virtuous insurgents’ for mentorship. eMMissaries represent Military Mentors positively, help increase organizational awareness, and seek opportunities to purposefully influence others. They are volunteer leaders seeking opportunities to engage mentors, mentees, and leaders, while increasing MM’s ability to rapidly respond to developing needs and trends.

Badge Overview

The eMMissary Program is five-month non-resident fellowship sponsored by Military Mentors, a non-profit aimed at combatting the effects of substandard leadership through the power of mentorship.

eMMissaries are industry leaders who are screened, selected, and trained through a five-month cohort-style leader(ship) developmental curriculum to become our ‘virtuous insurgency’ for mentorship. Each eMMissary has completed 20 hours of individual and group coursework.

Each eMMissary elevates their mentorship intellect by reading, researching, and writing an article on a topic of their choosing to be published on our website. Each eMMissary facilitates the application of mentorship or Military Mentors' core values through the development of an eMMissary Mentorship Service Project enabling the practical application of the principles of leadership, influence, and project management skills. at new visitors to the badge see.
