Rating Kahoot

I rate Kahoot a 4.5. I really enjoyed creating and completing these with the students and teachers wanted the results to use as ELA grades. I feel like as I continue to learn about Kahoot, I will use it more effectively.

My rating.....

I would give Kahoot a 4.  I love it for quick knowledge checks.  The only downfall is that often lower students just guess and don't give much effort.

5!!!

I love Kahoot! It is so fun and engaging for students, and you get quick feedback on what they know and what they still need to work on. My team and I are planning a Kahoot-a-thon to help teach main idea and theme!

5!!

I’ve used Kahoot before with 4th grade in a computer lab so I was interested to see how I could best use it with 1st graders on the iPads. My kids loved it in small group and in team during whole group. I can’t wait to use Kahoot again!

Average

I really like Kahoot, however it has some drawbacks.  The timed/competition factor makes it hard to use for content that students need to think about before answering.  Students are so focused on the speed that they forget to pay attention to the details of the questions.  It is fun for quick reviews or brain breaks though..

I will rate it a five. The students were very energized. So energized, the teacher next door came over to check on us. It was fun for all!

Kahoot!

My students love Kahoot! I love it too. I love that we can use public Kahoots. However, the jumble feature repeatedly had various problems freezing. When they fix that, it will be fantastic.

5 Stars all the way

If I made a top ten list of websites teacher's need in their life, KAHOOT would be on it. The second time I used it a few years back I was in love. I say second because the first time I tried to make the kdis be quite why we KAHOOT'ed. I thought I could use the results for a grade. HA, silly me. The second time I didn't even try for quite and we all had a blast.  It's intuitive to use and build quizzes. The new features are spectacular. My favorite thing to do is have kids write their own KAHOOT questions right after a first read of a text. This lets me know right away if the are getting what the text says. Then I follow up later with questions for deeper meaning.

Kahoot reflection

Who doesn't love Kahoot?!? I give it a 5. I've used it for a few years, and the kids are always super excited when they find out we are doing one. They are easy to create and easy to find already created Kahoots that you can use. Kids can easily create them as well. Tried multiple times to get Jumble mode to work, and seems like they are still having some issues with it. But I like it, especially as a "blind kahoot" to introduce content. The kids can puzzle out the right answer even if they don't have a clue. It's not as fast paced and takes more time though.

I would rate Kahoot a 5!

I love kahoot and I think most kids love it too.  In the future I would love to use it while teaching health classes as a fun pre-assessment type of activity.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reflection

I give Kahoot a 5 star ⭐️ rating! One of my favorite tools for reviewing material with students. It also works great for a quick brainbreak. I'm not making many Kahoots these days; students are creating their own Kahoots! We even had a Kahoot-a-Thon (a day where they play Ss created Kahoots) this year. A tradition I plan to continue use for years.

5/5

I absolutely love Kahoot. Definitely give it a 5 star rating. I am going to continue to do #kahootathons in my classroom! That is definitely my favorite way to use Kahoot. Students read passages, create a kahoot quiz using sentence stems created by me.
