Now What?

I've used the pretest data to split students into groups, pull stories at their level and work with individual students. I like that students are able to select stories to read and answer comprehension questions. We will continue to use it here and there.

Guided Time

This is a great tool to use when students have had computer lab for the day and have done SuccessMaker. It is great at having a variety of activities in ELA and Math. The one thing I struggle with is that when they work on the ELA articles, and they choose articles that are below their reading level.

Intervention

I will absolutely continue to use Front Row as a Tier 2-3 intervention. Once I get all kids to complete the word study pre-test I will assign Front Row to the kids scoring in the 0.0 and 1.0 groups. The format of the questions closely aligns with what the kids see on MAP so it is great practice for reading foundational skills. I'm excited to try out the math facts next!

Will definitely continue to use!

I absolutely love using Front Row during Tier time. The word study activities are great for all levels. I also really love the comprehension passages with questions! I love that you can see how many minutes students are spending every day. I like to check at the end of every week to see student progress.

I didn't realize that there were social studies activities! I am definitely going to look more into this.
