What I am most excited about

I really like that there are a variety of different question types.  It helps differentiate for your many levels of learners in your classroom!

Love the interactive question options

I like that you can see students' responses in real time, showing you if a student is stuck on a problem for a long time or just sitting idly. I also like the variety in question format. In 1st grade it is difficult for many students to read questions on their own, but interactive questions that let them click and/or drag or watch a video make it more intuitive and accessible.

Real-time feedback!

I am excited to see real time feedback, I think it is so cool that you can see haw students are doing live, you can also see how long it takes them to answer a question, which can help you determine some things to focus on going forward.

Another thing I'm intrigued to use more is their assessment library where they have many questions premade for you!

Social Studies content!

I really like the many types of questions available.  I also like that there is quite a bit of Social Studies options available. I struggle to find things sometimes for my content.

Anything that helps me grade is AWESOME!

There are some may kinds of questions beyond multiple choice. That makes it a really good alternative to other assessment apps/programs.

Grading is my least favorite thing to do so, having things automatically graded is AWESOME! I also like the item analysis. I don't have time to do that kind of tracking on my own. Makes differentiated reteaching so much better. Plus it gives me a chance to change questions as needed for the future.

Questions and Standards

I love the idea that questions already have a standard attached. Then I can look at scores based on the standard and see where students are performing on those standards very easily.

Text to Speech

Looking through some of the material about Edulastic it mentioned a text to speech (read aloud) feature. I would be interested in looking more at this feature. However, I'm not sure that I have access to it; it is one of the premium features.

Edulastic Reflection

It looks similar to classkick, but it's missing the hand raise feature I like in there. I'd like to try it out in real time and see how the students do with it. I like the autograding feature; seems like an easy way to do a quiz that needs to include media. Perhaps do one with an audio file attached that reads the questions for read aloud. There are tons of different question types, and they have a huge amount of help and support resources. There were lots of YouTube playlists. It seems like it has a lot of applications for math, like the fractions and graphing questions. I liked the item bank, since it helps you to use well-written assessments. I found this resource on the training hub which I found helpful, as I don't often do assessments. I particularly liked the idea of being able to use it with substitute teachers, since it allows for real-time monitoring. Again, I'd have to see it live, but I think Classkick would be better for this option. https://www.edulastic.com/blog/ways-to-use-edulastic-beyond-the-assessment/ ;

Edulastic

I like the way the data is displayed. For common assessments, this would be a great way to compare data as the information is already sorted by kid with clear color coding. The collaboration aspect is a great where to share among the content team.

EDULASTIC YEAHH!

One of the features that I absolutely love is the ability to search out specific questions by standard. It makes created assessments or check ins so easy!

I also really love that I can upload a passage and students can read the passage AND see the questions at the same time. GAME CHANGER! I just wish there was a way for students to also annotate the passage as well.

Another feature that I ADORE is that I can watch my students taking the test as they take it! I can tell if a student is speeding through the test and not reading carefully. Its such a great way to check in with students as they take the test. If Bob has 10 questions answered and they are red and its only been 3 minutes, I can walk over and figure out what is going on.
