I think the Educational Equity graphic and information it contains is a
great resource. I like the timeline which takes an individual from beginning to
developing and finally taking action. It shows me in detail how educational
equity can be initially started and the process to achieve action. Equality
in education is achieved when students are all treated the same and have access
to similar resources. Equity is achieved when all students receive the
resources they need so they graduate prepared for success after high school. It
literally measures educational success in society by its outcome, not the resources
poured into it.
