My students are culturally and linguistically diverse, and relationship building is of the utmost importance.  Teachers must be willing to provide “warmth” to help ‘grow the soul of the child’. It is also important that not just English as a New Language teachers help honor the diversity of our students, but also classroom teachers and their peers.  I think we can continue to do this through CRT and community building.
