- REFLECTION: What types of discussions do you feel are necessary to have with students regarding this new technology?
The first thing that needs to be discussed is understanding how the technology even works. Students need to understand that technologies work algorithms and are machines, so they don't always get it "right". So, there is both benefits and limitations of using AI technologies, such as accuracy and biases. Another issue is integrity and plagiarism. - Another way for it to be used is summarizing texts. Some students with special needs to ask variety of questions to get clarification on content or skills.
