The videos showed that Canva can be a great tool for some of the things that I am using many different programs for in my classroom- it can replace many of the Google Drive tools like Slides, Docs, etc. in a more interactive way. Creating lessons on Canva allows students to access links, videos, images, etc and interact online. I also like that it explained how if making a graphic organizer for students, it is also open to their interpretation and they may make something completely new of graphic organizers created on Canva. The biggest takeaway for me is to allow students to use Canva instead of a Google Slides for presenting others. I agree that if students can teach something to others- whether it be whole class, small group or in a genius hour setting, they show higher level of thinking.
