Data Driven Analytics is definitely something that would be beneficial in my classroom.  This would offer insight into student progress, spot areas of improvement and see patterns where information needs to be revisited and retaught.  The example provided in the video of using AI to help with essay writing seemed like an overwhelming and timely process.
Currently when I assign students an in-class writing assignment (that aligns to a NYS Regents prompt), it takes the class approx. 2-3 days to complete.  While we offer students comments on Google Drive or on Schoology for writing essays, it is not frequent where students take us up on our offers to make revisions, rewrite sections to improve their grades and even peer edit (unless we take the time in class to do so).  I do like the idea that when using AI, educators can customize rubrics to fit NYS standards or rubrics for the Regents Exam.  It is a nice feature where educators can override scores we disagree with and provide feedback such as giving praise, ask questions and make suggestions.
