In this case, it was to write an email reply to a parent surrounding book choices for a 10th grade student. The teacher continued to refine her and gave specific requests- such as grade level texts, genres, etc. Other parameters were added with teach prompt the teacher gave to chat GPT. She asked Chat GPT to change the tone, word choice, style and length. The educator even included what to keep and eliminate.
It appears that the more specific your request is on chat GPT, the better the results. I like the idea of using chat GPT as a starting point. Educators can then use and modify the results to suit their needs for the students and class.
