I have helped to organize, advertise, and attended ‘sober social’ activities including bowling evenings and trips to the union cinema to see films such as Deadpool and the Joker. It is important to me and to my society that people feel included in all social events and drinking is never compulsory at our events however we aim to host a sober social at least once a semester to make sure everyone feels welcome at our social events.
