7/16 and 7/17 training in Clay County

This two day training on 07/16 and 07/17 with Rosanne Arvin was absolutely fantastic. I am excited to begin to implement the inference strategy into my classroom.

I learned what the Inference Strategy is and how to implement it in the classroom with my students. It is a very useful method to teach students how to look for clues so that they can make their best guess in order to answer questions about a text.

Attended Multi-Day PL 9-14-2017 Chris O'Brien - Professional Developer

The Inference Strategy provides students with a tool to break complex text into manageable parts.  Giving them a way to utilize key words and other components of the text to better comprehend and understand the content.  The strategy is powerful in that students can utilize it with any content making it generalizable in the regular education classroom.
